Solid pharmaceutical dosage forms
We produce solid pharmaceutical dosage forms at our ultra-modern facilities in Killorglin, Marburg and Munich. Aside from the multitude of galenic forms, pellet technology with Nonpareille technology has represented a special focus at the Marburg site since 1982. Other pelletising possibilities are presented by the established technologies at our Irish site. Highly concentrated active ingredient pellets can be manufactured at that location with specially developed granulating procedures. Layering and coating procedures in Hüttlin plants (400 kg capacity) enable the application of active ingredient and coating layers, as well as a modified release profile. Plant extracts (liquid and solid extracts) are also produced here. The essence of hundreds of tons of horse chestnuts is currently being extracted in this manner each year.
The pressing and coating of tablets, which we carry out in Marburg and Munich, represents, along with the manufacture of pellets, a traditional area of our experience. This tablet manufacturing service is complemented by the production of effervescent tablets in Marburg, and of traditional sugar-coated tablets in Munich.
Aside from the production of capsules, and apart from the conventional procedures, such as the encapsulation of various types of pellets, granulates and powders, hard gelatine capsules can also be filled with liquid forms (“Liqui-Caps”).
Finally we would like to mention our established production of clinical trial supplies at the Munich site. By using installed GMP pilot plants and the available and extensive know-how, we are in a position to manufacture samples for clinical trials (Phase I - III), package them according to the agreed upon design and then distribute them.
Our customers are also able to select from our extensive range of technology a solution best suited to their needs for the packaging of manufactured bulk products, from primary to secondary packaging.
Furthermore, we have the C.P.M. facility in Bruckmühl which is an ultra-modern specialised packaging plant.
