The Marburg pharmaceutical manufacturer strengthens management team with the appointment of Dr. Werner Schneider Marburg, October 2006 The biologist Dr. Werner Schneider, who joined Hans Joachim Ricken as CEO of Temmler Pharma in September, has been in the pharmaceutical business for more than 22 years. Since his student days at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz it was clear on his mind that he would find his future scope of responsibilities in industry. In the first 15 years of his career he was employed as scientific director and authorised representative at Steigerwald Arzneimittelwerk in Darmstadt, subsequently moving to Lichtwer Pharma in Berlin where he became a member of the executive team in the research and development business area. In 2002 his responsibilities were extended to include the production and engineering business units and in 2004, after becoming a shareholder, Dr. Schneider took over responsibility for the organisation. Dr. Werner Schneider (49) is married with children and lives with his family in his adopted town of Eisenach. |
