Product safety control with DataMatrix

With effect of 1st January 2011 the new regulations of the French Drug Administration AFSSAPS for the improvement of product safety come into effect. All pharmaceutical companies which export to France must use the new DataMatrix system instead of the traditional barcodes. The data code is transmitted electronically by the manufacturer and can be traced throughout the whole supply chain.

In order to be able to provide this service to all customers, the Temmler Group has taken all necessary measures to comply with this regulation. Secured delivery, also with respect to Data Matrix, can be guaranteed for 2011.
